Je m’associe au deuil qui frappe si cruellement Pax Romana. Je ne manquerai pas de célébrer l’eucharistie à l’intention de M. Emilio José Patricio Rodé, aux intentions des sa famille de ses proches et de la famille internationale de Pax Romana.

Dear Friends,
Once again, on behalf of all members and friends of Pax Romana ICMICA Asia Pacific, I would like to express our deepest condolence to you regarding the passing away of our beloved friend and leader Patricio Rode.
We all keep good memory of him when he visited Thailand and Indonesia in December 2000, right after he was elected in Paris in 2000 and Mumbai (Bombay) and Gujarat in Jan. 2004 and at various international meeting in other continents.

Estimados amigos del MIIC Pax Romana,
Es con mucha pena que recibo la noticia relativa al fallecimiento de Patricio Rodé que he encontrado en distintas oportunidades. Me recuerdo su ánimo para "dar vida" al Reino de Dios en un mundo de injusticia y de violencia que él queria transformar a traves su compromiso personal, profesional y social. Con Uds, creo que sus acciones "son experiencias que confunden el tiempo con la eternidad".

Il Movimento ecclesiale di impegno culturale partecipa commosso al dolore della famiglia Rodé e di tutta la famiglia di Pax Romana per la morte di Patricio, grande laico cristiano del nostro tempo.
Ringrazio il Signore per il grande dono che ha rappresentato per me, per la mia famiglia e per il MEIC averlo conosciuto.

Passing of the President of Pax Romana ICMICA/MIIC
Paul,
I am surprised and saddened by the passign away of Patricio Rodè. In his last visit to Geneva I had a very good exchange of views with him and he was full of enthusiasm and ready to even take up the presidency of all Catholic orgnaizations. May the Lord reward him for tall the good he has done and keep him in his love forever. My sincere condolences to Pax Romana thta now needs looking for another capable and dedicated President. You are all in my prayers.
In Loving Memory of Patricio Rodé
Carrying an illness that first appeared last July and continuing with the aid of strong medications, Patricio still worked tirelessly on behalf of our movement.
Finally on 17 November 2005 in his home city of Montevideo, Uruguay,he returned home to the warm embrace of our loving God

It is a very deep and great sorrow to hear the passing away of dearest chairman, Patricio Rode. It is hardly believable when I remember his always lively intervention and talk about our movement, Pax-Romana, either in Washington in 1999 or in Warsaw in 2004.
We hope and pray that he will be at the "right side" of God.
Epsecially to Cristina and Miguel. Your sorrow is our sorrow. We feel a great loss of the passing away of Patricio. May God lead your feeling to heavenly happiness, even though we all feel a very sad moment.
