We, young people from 5 continents1, representing a diversity of cultural, religious and spiritual backgrounds - Art of Living Foundation, Bahá’í, Brahma Kumaris, Buddhism, Christians of Catholic, Orthodox and Lutheran confessions, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism - gathered in Bilbao, Basque Country, at the 2nd Internship Program on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue.

Pax Romana–ICMICA/MIIC with the support from the Government of Basque Country and Bilbao City Council organized the 2nd Pax Romana-ICMICA Interreligious and Intercultural Internship Programme 2006, to take place in Bilbao, Spain from 10 to 19 December 2006.

On Monday, 5 th of December 2005, 16 young people from 14 different nationalities and five religions arrived at Bilbao to form part of the “Youth Internship Programme on the Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue” seven days before the beginning of the main-congress: Within the framework of the Congress “Nuevos desafíos en un mundo que ansía la paz” which took place in Bilbao from 11. - 13. December 2005 a group of young people from different places of different continents got the opportunity to get in contact and to share their experiences with their own but also with other cultures and religions.
